The Ragnarok!

I should preface this by saying that I do love the island map for ark. That being said however, the Ragnarok map is bloody awesome. it is far and away the most interesting map currently available, though this may in part be due to the familiarity of the island. But the massive canyons, lofty peaks, and beautifully sculpted beaches of ragnarok are breathtaking. There is an active volcano with randomly timed eruptions and lava flows, cave systems large enough to fly through and get lost in, ancient ruins and dungeons to explore. Furthermore there are the griffins, the griffins are so beautiful and well crafted, they are a unique and fascinating addition (they are balanced too, high health but low damage, probably an even fight between griffins and argentavis). All of this combined with the full scorched earth implementation (including engrams) makes ragnarok something definitely worth looking at while waiting for the server wipe.

Thanks for the headsup on this. I had been checking out a few different reviews and watched a few different fan based trailers on this but I couldn't decide for sure if I wanted to check it out or not. I might go ahead and give it a go, to at the very least see it first hand. :)

Its defiantly stunning, I'll probably end up running a Ragnarok server when the map is a bit more finished.

The best thing is hands down the Griffin (we will have it spawning on the island rare) HYPE!
